Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan made his fiftyth goal for Ghana after breaking the virginity of game on the 10th minute. John Boye and Ebenezer Ofori followed with a strike each while Raphael Dwamena delivered a brace making it 5 for the Stars.
