Actor Mmebusem married his wife out of poverty – Big Akwes

Kumawood actor and television presenter with Kumasi based Royal TV Big Akwes has alleged colleague actor Justice Hymns well known as Mmebusem whose wedding pictures went viral few days ago did that out of convenience and not real love.

Presenting the entertainment news on Dawuro (morning show on RTV), the actor alleged Mmebusem revealed to him things had been tough for him but had been approached by a wealthy woman to marry her only daughter which he obliged.

Mmebusem got married to Abena Boatemaa on Sunday October 23 2016 at the Voice of the Lord Church in Nkawkaw, Ghana.

This is not the first time Big Akwes has stirred controversy with his comments. Last year, he alleged most movie producers slept with actresses before giving out roles.
